AN OPEN LETTER TO THE PROSECTOR GENERAL OF THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT AT THE HAGUE
TO: The Prosecutor General of the International Criminal Court, Mr. Luis Moreno-Ocampo,
The Hague.
It is regrettable that International Criminal Court is being exploited for political agenda of some western countries, including the US, UK and Israel, to destabilize a UN member country, Sudan, in order for the western powers to take over the country, either in a conspiracy of regime change or military intervention, under false pretext of the so-called genocide in Darfur. The intention of the western powers is evident from a long series of measures to subjugate Sudan, its people and its resources. The western powers are particularly alarmed that a non-western power, like China and even India, is increasing their stake and cooperation in economic development of Sudan and that is compromising their monopoly of imperialist exploitation of weakly defended third world countries. It will be travesty of justice and a blot on the working of International Criminal Court, if a bigger accused, mainly the person representing the United State of America, President George W. Bush, of genocide in Iraq and Afghanistan, is routinely ignored and allowed to escape the application of international justice over its illegal invasion of Iraq, which Sudan's President is being held accountable for western provoked violence in parts of a weakly defended country.
On behalf of the rest of the world and on behalf of the persecuted people of Africa and the Muslim world, I appeal to you to desist from misusing the offices of the International Criminal Court to further the criminal machinations of some power countries of the western axis.
Justice should not only be done, but it should be seen to be done. In this case, your most unwise and motivated move to prosecute the Head of a Third World, African, Muslim country, over blatantly trumped up charge of genocide, would be seen by the world at large as a criminal act of misuse of the powers of International Court of Justice.
Save the credibility and trust of the court, by first prosecuting the President of the United State of America, for his illegal invasion of the UN member country of Iraq and the wholesale massacres of Iraqi civilians in aerial bombardment.
